This picture goes out to all of you tropical flower lovers! You don't buy things like birds-of-paradise here, because they grow on random street corners haha. I guess you'd have to buy them if you wanted them inside. I haven't really noticed what's popular down here instead.The concert last night was great. We took about an extra hour getting to Fremantle, because there was an incident on the train tracks ahead of us (involving a person and a really fast train), so everything shut down for a while. We eventually managed to get on one of the buses that was replacing the train service (imagine 300 people trying to get on 2 buses...they really needed more buses). I never actually heard anything about the accident after.
I was at the grocery store today and didn't know what I wanted, so I ended up grabbing one of those curry pastes and following the recipe on it. It actually turned out pretty good! :)
