My Travels in Australia

Moving to Joondalup

I moved into residence in Joondalup today! The residence is set at the back of the campus as the area gets a little more "bush-like".
I have my own sitting room (with a sliding door to the patio / walkway), kitchen (with fridge, oven, grilling-thing in the oven and gas stove), bedroom and bathroom. I headed off and picked up my bank card and did some initial shopping for a few groceries and things like pillows, towels, etc. I'm going to need to set-up my cell with a SIM card from here soon, because my in-room phone only lets me call on-campus numbers. I also have a feeling that it will cost less in the end to set-up a SIM card than to buy phone cards all the time.

It's about 29 degrees Celsius right now, but tomorrow it's supposed to be 37 Celsius (around 98 Fahrenheit I think), which is almost a little too hot haha. It's supposed to be like that for two days, and then back to the mid-twenties.

Anyways, I'm going to keep organizing my room, and I'll keep you posted! :)
